FIELD: pumping various liquids. SUBSTANCE: pump unit has electric motor and pump. Liquid handled by pump flows in space around motor stator. Bracket attached to outer surface of pump mounts frequency changer. Bracket has external frame enclosing motor stator and external barrel. Annular space is provided between external frame and external barrel. Frequency changer has bracket-mounted base, cover attached to base, and frequency changer proper placed in base and cover. Bracket has hole for electrical connection of motor to frequency changer. The latter is cooled down with liquid handled by pump unit due to heat transfer through bracket and base. Bracket, base, and cover are provided with good heat conductors such as those made of aluminum alloy. EFFECT: facilitated installation of frequency changer on small-size motor-pump unit. 12 cl, 3 dwg
