FIELD: veterinary. SUBSTANCE: strain Bifidobacterium globosum БФ-4 shows high antagonistic activity that ensures to increase effectiveness of probiotic preparation prepared of it. To prepare probiotic preparation bacterial culture is grown on any nutrient medium which is acceptable for bifidobacteria for 48 h up to cell accumulation 10⁹cm³. Use of veterinary probiotic preparation made on the basis of strain B. globosum БФ-4 ensures to increase safety of piglet livestock by 6-8% as compared with medicinal probiotics in the process of prophylaxis against disbacteriosis of alimentary and bacterial origin.
