FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out electric stimulation of soft palatine muscles with electric current under various conditions using autologic electric stimulation device. The active electrode of the autologic electric stimulation device is set on the median line of the soft palatine above the small uvula palati and then in points on the soft palatine to the right and to the left of the first point. Electric stimulation is carried out in succession in the mentioned points with pulsating rectangular current 4 treatments in every point, 12 treatment totally in one session. The passive electrode is applied to forearm. Pulsating current parameters are individually adjusted depending on patient sensitivity to reach pricking sensation in the palatine area. Frequency is equal to 60-80 Hz, current amplitude is from 10 to 600 mcA in package mode having 10 pulses in a package with package succession frequency of 1 s. Irritation series duration is 30 s, pause is 30 s long. The total course is 10-12 treatments long. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in repairing soft palatine functions. 1 dwg
