FIELD: foundry, particularly, production of thin-walled machine parts by squeezing of metal. SUBSTANCE: mold has gathering sectional movable and fixed mold halves with sections combined in blocks. Sections of one block form stiffening ribs in casting. Block has a drive for its motion. Sections forming casting wall are combined in other block. Moving of block forming of stiffening ribs in direction from casting is used for breaking off the casting to facilitate removal of casting from mold and results in reduction of rejects.
