FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has housing with compression chamber, spring-loaded piston positioned inside compression chamber, shot collecting reservoir with intaking hose, nozzle and pipeline for supplying conveying gas and for pressure leveling, and is further provided with shaft carrying cam mounted for engagement with piston, slot-type valve disposed in side part of housing and adapted for communicating conveying gas supply pipeline with compression chamber, feeding spherical valve, dosing device with locking stem positioned in central part of it and equipped with electromagnet, pipeline for supplying shot to processing zone. Compression chamber and nozzle are interconnected via slot-type valve defined by movable and immovable disks provided with slot-type cuts. Disks are joined in their central parts through pin and are positioned so that movable disk may be rotated. Movable disk is electrically connected to electric magnet of dosing device. Helical groove is formed on internal surface of compression chamber in its upper part. Piston is positioned for moving along helical groove and cooperating with movable disk of slot-type valve. Apparatus of such construction may be used for shot-blast abrasive processing of parts to impart adhesion strength to these parts.
