FIELD: railway transport; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed has equalizer with two longitudinal journals and joint cross member, and board with eyes for hinge for hinge coupling of equalizer. Novelty is that equalizer is fitted in eyes of board by its journals. One of equalizer journals has friction device at its end. Friction device is made in form of pair of plates loaded by spring, one of plates being connected with board eye and the other is secured on equalizer tennon for turning, together with equalizer, relative to first plate. Hinged cross member of equalizer is directly connected with brake rigging on tennon of which other friction device is mounted, being made in form of plate loaded by spring relative to equalizer.
