FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: described are plastic modified compositions based on mineral binder and one or more vinyl etherethylene copolymers intended for civil engineering work. Said compositions comprise protective colloid stabilized vinyl etherethylene copolymer prepared by radical emulsion polymerization in aqueous medium of (a) 15-80 wt % of vinyl acetate; (b) 5-3.5 wt % of ethylene (c) 5-60 wt % of one or more vinyl esters of straight or branched carboxylic acids having 5-18 carbon atoms and (d) 0- 10 wt % of other copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomers provided that they contains emulsifier.
