FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is new heat- melting adhesive composition based on radial styrene-butadiene block copolymers and radial styrene-isoprene block copolymers. Composition comprises (a) from 15 to 50 wt % of radial block copolymer having four branches of general formula: (S-B-)4-X (I) wherein B is polybutadiene block S is polystyrene block and X is residue of four-valent binding agent; (b) component selected from 8 to 35 wt % of radial block copolymer of general formula: (S-I-)3-X (II) wherein I is polyisoprene block and, S is polystyrene block, and X is as defined above; (c) from 35 to 80 wt % of at least one adhesion-increasing resin, (i) total polystyrene content in block copolymer (I) is less than 40 wt %, (ii) total polystyrene content in block copolymer (II) is less than 35 wt %, (iii) molecular weight of polystyrene blocks in copolymer (I) is less than 30,000 and molecular weight of polystyrene blocks in copolymer (II) is less than 32,000 (IV) molecular weight of radial block copolymer (I) (S-B-)4-X is between 180,000 and 260,000, (V) molecular weight of radial block copolymer (II) (S-I-)3-X is between 120,000 and 180,000. New composition has excellent self-adhesive properties. It retains low adhesiveness values when peeled and rapidly stuck and has good equilibrium of desired properties. EFFECT: improved properties of the heat-melting adhesive composition. 3 cl, 2 ex, 1 tbl
