FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: movement joint has L-shaped bordering members symmetrically installed in coverage break, steel gusset plates fastened to reinforcement projections and bottom part of ledges. Mentioned L-shaped members are provided with opposing ledges mounted under coverage, with slots facing each other and made in posts where V-shaped expansion device made of polymeric material, mainly of rubber, and fixed by branches in post slots over joint length. Novelty is that posts of L- shaped bordering members are provided with projections forming mentioned slots and located in different planes through their height; length of upper projection in each post bent downward is greater than that of lower one by at least half the bend thickness of upper projection; expansion device is placed in respective slot through middle of branch horizontally folded in two; its overhanging part obtained in the process is arranged for contacting its middle part whose base is located not higher than lower projection.
