FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves driving pipe into ground with its open end and cyclically removing ground core produced in the process of applying percussion load from pipe by ground dredge; withdrawing dredge filled with ground core by pulling winch which applies static force to it, with dynamic force delivering process being interrupted, when dredge filled with ground core is actuated for backward motion; reducing percussion load to value making 0.5- 0.6 of load developed by dredge drive in the process of displacement and extraction of ground core. Method provides trenchless laying of pipelines of large diameter. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced consumption of power for removal of ground core from pipe. 2 cl, 2 dwg
