METHOD OF TRENCHLESS REPLACEMENT OF UNDERGROUND PIPELINES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: method may be used during trenchless replacement of old underground pipelines by means of "well-to-well" technology. Method consists in passing of working member including dismantling-assembled parts through old pipeline, centering it in input pit relative to old pipeline by successive introduction of working member parts into old pipe and drawing-in of new pipeline behind it. Prior to centering, working member is assembled by hinge-jointing of its parts to one another outside input pit and coupled with pull rope passed through old pipeline. When introducing working member into old pipeline it is positioned at an angle with respect to old pipeline. EFFECT: simplified work under difficult conditions. 5 dwg
