FIELD: preparation of water for steam generators operating on water characterized by high bicarbonate calcium hardness. SUBSTANCE: device has a vertical tank with tapered bottom and with water inlet and outlet branch pipes, contact mass, for example, sand, and substance which causes separation of hardness salts from water The substance is represented by steam. The device is provided additionally with recirculator introduced into the tank. Recirculator includes vertical tubes arranged coaxially one inside the other and steam nozzle positioned under them. Tubes and nozzle are placed on the same axis with the tank. Upper part of external tube is fitted with branch pipe for removal of carbonic acid and noncondensed steam and coupled to upper part of the tank by means of tube. In addition, the entire suspended contact mass of device is in recirculator space and in circulating motion. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for water softening. 1 dwg
