FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: working water is heated to temperature higher than the saturation point of secondary steam, partially evaporated while imparting to it a rotational motion in a centrifugal-vortex steam generator with reduction of the spinning radius and reduction of pressure, which facilitates the boiling of water, formation of pure secondary steam, which is then tapped into a condenser. The partially evaporated, spent working water which circulates on a closed loop is heated once more and fed into the centrifugal-vortex steam generator. The method is characterised by that heating the working water to temperature higher than the saturation point is carried out by direct contact with working (arbitrarily contaminated) steam directly in the centrifugal-vortex steam generator or pre-switched contact steam heater before feeding into the centrifugal-vortex steam generator.
EFFECT: salt content of the working water does not increase with evaporation of pure steam, which reduces heat loss with blowing of the working zone, resulting in lower cost and simplification of existing methods of desalinating water.
