FIELD: electric drives of devices suffering axial shaft loads. SUBSTANCE: motor has stator accommodating permanent magnets and winding controlled by rotor position sensor through switching device. Rotor has set of axially saturated permanent magnets. Working parts of motor windings are arranged uniformly but they are not in line with radial direction. Rotor magnets controlling the operation of rotor position sensor are unequally spaced from motor axis and nonuniformly arranged over circumference. Thrusts applied to stator magnets lying in one plane differ in magnitude and in direction from those imparted to single-disk rotor magnets located in other plane. This phenomenon is used to build up axial thrusts opposing axial load created by working element mounted on motor shaft. EFFECT: facilitated motor control. 4 cl, 1 dwg
