FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in units and drive mechanisms with fast and accurate automatic shutdown when the drive motor is operating in one direction, i.e. in flow lines. Self-braking double axial asynchronous motor comprises a stator and a rotor. Stator consists of a braking device, a prefabricated symmetrical body in the form of an outer cylindrical rim, at the ends of which the side shields with bearings are rigidly fixed, forming a single whole with the central support disk, on the axial surfaces of which the stator magnetic cores with windings are rigidly fixed. Rotor consists of a two-stage shaft, in which the distance between the collars located closer to the center of the shaft exceed the distance between the outer axial surfaces of the magnetic circuits by a value twice as large as the working air gap. Two rotor packs are placed on the shaft with the possibility of axial movement along the axis of the rotor shaft, made in the form of annular disks having magnetic circuits with windings, with a brake spring installed between them on the shaft. Rotor packs are interfaced with the rotor shaft by means of splined joints that are mirror-shaped with respect to the central support disk along a helicoidal surface with an axial bevel angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. Direction of rotation of the rotor shaft coincides with the increase in the angle of the axial slope of the splines from the edges of the shaft to the middle.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the response time and starting currents, increasing the braking efficiency and providing positioning accuracy while maintaining high energy characteristics.
