FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves precipitating immunoglobulins with zinc sulfate. After being precipitated, the sample is incubated for 50-53 min at 17-20 C, centrifuged during 7-10 min under 2500-3000 revolutions per min. The precipitate is washed with distilled water and centrifuged during 13-15 min under 2500-3000 revolutions per min. The produced precipitate is dried. Then 6-8 ml of distilled water, 1-1.5 ml of sodium hydroxide, 0.3-0.5 ml17-20^°C of copper sulfate are added in series. The preparation is kept for color reaction to come in effect, condensed with centrifuging and supernatant extinction is determined. Immunoglobulin quantity is determined from calibration plot built in the same manner from investigation results obtained on a series of standard serum solutions. EFFECT: high accuracy in quantitatively determining immunoglobulins available in colostrum. 1 dwg
