FILTER FOR GAS SCRUBBING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning contaminated air from suspended particles, aerosols and other admixtures in all industries. SUBSTANCE: filter has housing filled with liquid and provided with inlet branch pipe for delivery of contaminated gas and outlet branch pipe for discharge of clean gas. Filter has coarse and fine cleaning chambers; fine cleaning chamber has sections formed by horizontal perforated partitions and vertical perforated dividers. Horizontal perforated partitions are mounted for reciprocating motion in horizontal plane. Vertical perforated dividers found in fine cleaning chamber are additionally provided with double-sided traps made in form of screen at diameter of meshes of 50-150 mcm which is made from easily deformed material, for example capron of lavsan secured over entire perimeter of sides of vertical divider. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of filter; avoidance of chocking of meshes of vertical divider. 2 dwg
