FIELD: cleaning contaminated air and gas from suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: proposed inertial filter includes cassettes 1 and housing 2 with taper part 3 and dust exhaust opening 4. Air distributor 5 is provided with central air supply branch pipe 6 connected with inlet slits 7 made in form of rectangular slots. Air distributor 5 is connected with upper part of housing 2 and its lower taper part 3 by means of fasteners. Gas flow is smoothly distributed in horizontal plane 8 of air distributor 5. Filtering cassette 1 is made from dust absorbing bulky material. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability; reduced power requirements and usage of metals. 2 cl, 3 dwg
