FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has guide secured on base, cylinder whose body is mounted on base, brake shoe consisting of skid connected with cylinder rod and stop hinge-coupled with skid for engagement with vehicle wheel. It has also slider installed in guide and coupled with skid. Skid can carry all wheelsets of bogies to be braked. Cylinder is made in form of set of flexible elements of different rigidity. Stop of shoe is rigidly secured on intermediate member coupled with slider and made for turning around vertical axle mounted on plate which is rigidly secured on side surface of skid from side of guide.
