FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder with combustion chamber and cover with channels installed on cylinder and accommodating intake and exhaust valves with drive. Engine is furnished additionally with common valve whose dimensions are commensurable with inner size of cylinder. This provides forcing of combustion products out of chamber and controls valve timing beyond the limits of combustion chamber. EFFECT: improved cleaning of combustion chamber from exhaust gases by forcing them out by displacement valve. 1 dwg
