FIELD: sealing assemblies of rotors and beads of pump impellers and compressor wheels. SUBSTANCE: rotor slotted seal includes L-shaped thin-walled deformable bushing positioned with circular clearance relative to rotor in main sealing slot and in centering holder with radial clearance on side of high-pressure cavity. Clearance communicates with said cavity through channels. Said cavity is sealed by end-face coupling with thrust bushing of body on low-pressure side. When assembly is loaded with differential pressure bushing provides, due to variation of its sizes and conditions of coupling with thrust bushing, for formation of confuser shape of slot of preset sizes and preservation of shape and throttling clearance value at further rise of differential pressure. Positive effect is obtained by definite correlation of sizes of deformable bushing, clearances and parts in assembly. Use of said construction makes it possible to enhance efficiency of pumps, compressors and turbo-units by 1-4% and to unload supports from radial loads in rotor starting and stopping modes.
