FIELD: shipbuilding; manufacture of propeller-and-engine complexes. SUBSTANCE: screw propulsor consists of two coaxial propellers located in way of motion. Second (in way of motion) propeller is immovable and is provided with blades bent in transversal direction. Tangential planes of trailing edges of fixed blades are parallel to axis at each point. Leading edges of blades are bent towards direction of rotation of first propeller. One more immovable propeller may be additionally fitted before movable propeller. EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced efficiency; universality of usage of screw propulsor for ahead and astern running. 2 cl, 2 dwg
