SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel naphthyl derivatives of the formula (I) where R¹ and R² mean H, -OH or -O-(C₁-C₄-alkyl); R³ means 1-piperidinyl, 1-pyrrolidinyl, methyl-1-pyrrolidinyl, dimethyl-1-pyrrolidinyl, 4-morpholinyl, dialkylamino- or 1-hexamethyleneimino-group; n = 2 or 3, or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Compounds of the formula (I) inhibit manifestation of postclimacteric syndrome symptoms and can be used as an agent for relief of postclimacteric syndrome symptoms as osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, hyperlipidemia or hormone-dependent cancer.
