SUBSTANCE: method involves casting ironing pad with concave working surface by earth casting with following quenching and partial machining; straightening by providing cyclic heating, mechanical pressing and supplying of cool air. Method allows deformation of working surface of ironing pad manufactured from aluminum alloys during operation to be within permissible limits.
