FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, processes for wet-thermal processing of sewing articles.

SUBSTANCE: method involves converting fabric filaments and threads to high-elastic state on working device and exposing to loading in vertical plane for time providing for reducing of gaps between filaments of low-porosity fabrics by 10-22% at specific mechanical pressures of 0.03-0.12 MPa, with type of loading being graphically presented as second-order convex curved line; exposing semi-finished product to static loading within the same specific pressure range until warp and weft threads are deformed at points of their tangential planes by no more than 50%, with type of loading being graphically presented as straight horizontal line; unloading said semi-finished product for predetermined time so that residual deformation is 7-14%, with type of unloading being graphically presented as second-order concave curved line.

EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of sewing articles due to elimination of excessive compression of semi-finished product fabric filaments and avoiding of additional steaming operation.
