FIELD: machine engineering, possibly automatic assembling of threaded joints. SUBSTANCE: flange bolt includes threaded rod, flange with supporting surface and shaped head with outer engaging members for mounting tool. Said members are in the form of alternating longitudinal dents and recesses joined along radiuses. Supporting surface of bolt flange has undercut groove and it is in the form of disc. Height h of flange is determined according to given relation where dr is diameter of bolt rod, Dh is diameter of head along dents, Df is diameter of flange, γ is inclination angle of supporting surface, dn is diameter of bolt neck, b is depth of undercut groove. Flanged bolt with locking properties has small mass, high strength in axial direction. EFFECT: enhanced stability of tightening by means of such bolt. 1 dwg
