FIELD: building and repair of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: pipe joint has cylindrical coupling positioned on threaded end of pipe and hollow cylindrical adapter mounted on threaded end of other pipe to be jointed. Coupling consists of conjugated cylindrical surfaces of different diameter with middle part and end sections formed. Middle part length, as well as total length of end sections and adapter connected to them is not less than height of holding and catching members of mechanism for pipes mounted and dismantling. Coupling and adapter bodies are made volumetrically strengthened. Threaded surfaces are made wear-resistant additionally. The invention provides for tightness of threaded connections after multiple mounting-dismantling operations with joints when lowering and lifting of tubing string, and for enhanced durability of joint due to elimination of contact between pipes and catching and holding members of mechanism for mounting and dismantling of tubing string. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint, reduced operational expenditures. 2 cl, 1 dwg
