FIELD: oil-and-gas production.

SUBSTANCE: hollow pump rod is implemented with ability of connection by axis with connection element and allows at ends thread, implemented with ability of coupling with thread of connection element. Additionally rod allows internal diametre D1, implemented along the full length of rod, external diametre D2, implemented in the middle part of rod, and external diametre D3, implemented at ends of rod of length L1, herewith D3 more than D2. Additionally at both ends of rod it is implemented external conical thread of length L2. Connection element is implemented in the form of clutch and allows internal tapered thread and external diametre d, relation of which to inner diametre of rod D1 is in the range from 2.0 up to 3.0.

EFFECT: capabilities expansion and productivity improvement of rod pumping installation with usage of pumping pipe string of minor diametre.
