FIELD: drying equipment, mainly drying of sealed compressor motors of refrigerating machines. SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that drying is accomplished by cyclic vacuum treatment with intermediate admission of process gas and supply of heat, before vacuum treatment the article is heated to the preset temperature, maintaining pressure in it equal to the pressure of saturated vapor at the preset temperature. The temperature is preset proceeding from the heat stability of the structural members, for example, insulation, and the temperature is checked inside the article referring to the resistance of the electric winding of the compressor motor. The method provides for creation and maintenance of the conditions of boiling and overheat of liquid. EFFECT: intensified process of evaporation, accelerated process of drying and improved its quality. 2 cl, 2 dwg
