FIELD: pneumatic weapon. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic gun for underwater hunting has a body with the working medium, handle with a trigger, spring-loaded bar connected to it, muzzle cap with holes installed on one end of the body and a nipple installed on the other end of the body and having a double-step external surface. The nipple carries a means for loading the gun with air, and the muzzle cap has a damping assembly, strike force regulator installed for changing the section area of the muzzle cap holes and made in the form of a bush with holes, whose diameter equals to or exceeds the diameter of the holes in the muzzle cap. The bush is installed for turning relative to the muzzle cap and changing the section area of its holes from the maximum one to 0. The body cavity accommodates the barrel with a piston, having a cylindrical bore on one side for catching the harpoon, and a tail piece on the other side for engagement with the sear for engagement with the spring-loaded bar. Provision is made for loading the gun with air located on the nipple. The pneumatic gun has a means for pressure relief installed on the nipple and made in the form of a shut-off needle, and the nipple for its installation is made with an axial through threaded hole. Installed in the gun handle cavity is a slide-type safety device and an anchor connecting the gun body to the handle, the handle is made with a through slot, and the safety device is positioned in the latter for horizontal motion and fixing in the working positions at engagement with the anchor.
