FIELD: fire prevention, in particular, benches and chambers for examination of fire detectors. SUBSTANCE: the chamber for testing of fire detectors has a fan, air flow equalizer, air flow speed transducer, temperature-sensitive element, electric heaters. The specific feature of the claimed chamber is the fact that it is made in the form of two aligned located one behind the other cylindrical pipes of heat-insulating material, the external pipe has a heat-insulating bottom and a cover, and successively installed in the internal pipe in the direction of air flow are the air flow equalizer, air flow speed transducer, temperature-sensitive element, and installed on its inner surface in the plane perpendicular to the chamber axis are the detectors to be tested at an equal distance one from another. The electric heaters are located in the intertubular space below the level of arrangement of the detectors under test and symmetrically relative to the general axis of the chamber, and the fan is positioned in the lower of the chamber and its axis is matched with the chamber axis. EFFECT: enhanced capacity of test operations due to creation of similar conditions for any number of simultaneously tested detectors, as well as reduced sluggishness and power consumption of the test chamber due to reduced area of body surface and its mass. 1 dwg
