FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stands for studying and monitoring various fire detectors in conditions close to a real fire and combustion. The stand for testing fire detectors comprises a rectangular measuring chamber with an inspection window, inside which thermal and/or smoke and/or flame fire detectors are placed in mounting sockets adapted for horizontal movement along rails fixed to the ceiling of the measuring chamber. As a test flame source, gas burners were used, configured for remote ignition, located at the bottom of the chamber on both sides of the electric heater, on which a steel sheet was laid to place a sample of combustible material on it. A supply fan is located in the lower part of the end wall of the chamber, and an exhaust fan is installed on the ceiling, near the opposite end wall, which is the chamber door. The supply and exhaust fans, as well as the electric heater and gas burners are connected to the control panel. Fire detectors are connected to a fire alarm control device, the outputs of which are connected to the negative contacts of the windings of n electromagnetic relays, the positive contacts of the windings of which and one contact of their keys are connected to the positive terminal of the power supply, and the second contact of each key is connected to the input of the controller, to which a temperature sensor and a gas analyser for CO, O2 and CO2 gases located inside the measuring chamber and a screen located outside the chamber are connected. The fire alarm control unit and the controller are connected to a DC power supply.

EFFECT: expanding the range of devices for testing fire detectors.
