SUBSTANCE: process of concentration by evaporation involves injection of liquid radioactive wastes in glycerin, waste-to-glycerin ratio within evaporation zone being 1:9 to 1:1. Measures are taken to prevent encrustation of heating surfaces by salt deposits and local corrosion on stainless steel.
