FIELD: electrical engineering; primary metal-air chemical current supplies. SUBSTANCE: chemical current supply has case accommodating at least one electrochemical cell that has anode, cathode, separator, electrolyte vial, and reset mechanism. Novelty is that anode is made of active electrochemical metal chosen from group incorporating aluminum, magnesium, zinc, or their alloys, that cathode is, essentially, gas-diffusion air electrode, and that microporous electrolyte carrier functions as separator; electrolyte vial is placed between case wall and rear side of anode. Bottom edge of electrolyte carrier may be located under electrolyte vial; reset mechanism is made in the form of pusher-and-needle assembly mounted in bottom part of case under electrolyte vial. Reset mechanism may be made in the form of flexible wall of case abutting against electrolyte vial and fitted with cutting members. Air cathode may be closed with external perforated safety cover. Electrochemical cell of current supply may be provided with gas vent in top part of case held open in the course of operation and resetting and provided with plug made of porous fluoroplastic.
