FIELD: electrical engineering; primary metal-air chemical current supplies. SUBSTANCE: current supply has case accommodating anode, cathode, electrolyte compartment, and reset mechanism. Anode is made of active electrochemical metal chosen of group incorporating aluminum, magnesium, zinc, or their alloys; cathode is, essentially, gas-diffusion air electrode; electrolyte compartment is located between rear side of anode and case wall; reset mechanism is made in the form of anode provided with device for its displacement in parallel with cathode plane along axis perpendicular to cathode plane. Anode is secured through its rear side to holder and mounted in parallel with cathode in a spaced relation to side walls of case. Side walls of case are provided with guides for anode displacement. Anode holder has sealing arrangement in the form of adhesive layer or sealing gasket on surface abutting against side walls of case. Anode displacement device is made in the form of screw-and-nut assembly with its nut placed on anode holder and screw, on case wall. Screw is provided with sealing gaskets installed in vicinity of holder and case wall. Air electrode is covered with shielding grid that also functions as current lead.
