FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has pressed core having at least two layers. At least one layer has mixture of pharmaceutical agent and polymer. The polymer produces microscopic gelatin-like balls during hydration process. The second layer also has polymer producing microscopic gelatin-like balls during hydration process. The polymer is selected from sodium-acrylate polymer, carboxipolyethylenes, carbameric polymers and their pharmaceutically permissible salts. Water-insoluble core and water-impermeable polymer coating is applied to cover the core. The coating envelopes the core and is bound to it. The coating has holes, opening from 5 to 75% of core surface. The holes are used for applying hydration and releasing the microscopic gelatin-like balls.
