FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: liquid has the following components, weight %: polyethylenepolyamine, 0.05-0.5; phosphoric acid, 0.025-0.25; glycerol, 0.025-0.25; copper sulfate, 0.0025-0.025; zinc chloride, 0.001-0.01; sodium nitrite, 0.0025-0.025; formalin, 0.001-0.01 and water, the balance. Use of liquid provides decrease of surface roughness by 25-30%, highly effective polishing of different materials, excluding members corrosion, prevention of fungi growth and biological decomposition of liquid. Invention can be used in optical-mechanical, electronic engineering and other branches of industry in diamond-abrasive treatment of articles made of glass, ceramics, semiconductive materials, sapphire, quartz and other materials. EFFECT: enhanced quality of treatment. 3 tbl
