FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals; extraction of gold from rich gold-bearing concentrates by leaching in cyanide solutions. SUBSTANCE: oxygen in highly dispersed state is fed to pulp circulating apparatus in the amount of 10 to 25 l per gram of gold of starting concentrate. The process is started at delivery of oxygen in the amount of 2.5 to 4 l per cubic meter of solution per hour; concentrate is leached for 10 to 12 hours, after which flow rate of oxygen is increased to 5 - 10 l/cu.m and leaching is continued for 12-24 hours. Degree of gold extraction is equal to 95 - 97%. Leaching device has housing, solution inlet and outlet branch pipes, starting material loading and discharge branch pipes and circulating pump; device is additionally provided with oxygen supply branch pipe fitted on solution inlet branch pipe before circulating pump. EFFECT: increased rate of dissolving and degree of extraction of gold in processing gold- bearing concentrate in cyanide solution in air atmosphere. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl, 3 ex
