FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention provides high-strong long-bath threads based on aromatic copolyamides having general formulas 1: [-CO-Ar1-CONH-Ar2-NH-]m[-CO-Ar1-CONH-Ar3-NH-]n (1), wherein m= 0.00-0.80, n+m=1.00, and 2: (2), wherein m= 0.00-0.70, l= 0.05- 0.65, n+m+l=1.0, Ar1, Ar2, Ar3 and Ar4 are bivalent aromatic radicals in para positions, and more specifically Ar1 is defined by general formula , in which R is chlorine or hydrogen atom; Ar2 by general formula , in which R' is alkyl, C4-alkoxy, halogen or hydrogen atom; Ar3 by general formula , in which Y is O, N, S or NH; and Ar4 is phenylene radical. Threads are formed according to wet or dry method from 4.0-5.5% polycondensation solution into water-amide precipitation bath. After plasticizing stretching, washing, and drying, threads are treated with aqueous composition containing 0.1-3.0% polyethylhydrogensiloxane, 0.01-0.3% emulsifier, and 0.01-0.50% heat- fixation catalyst. Threads are then thermally treated at 340-370 C and stretched to 1-3% of their initial length at 360-420 C.
