FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: yarn has 30-85 wt % of chemical fibers and 15-70 wt % of short-stapled linen fibers with linear density of 0.37-0.89 tex and 2.1-4 tex. Method involves mixing 30-85 wt % of chemical fibers and 15-70 wt % of short-stapled linen fibers with linear density of 0.25-4 tex; subjecting mixed fibers to treatment with emulsifying agent, such as preparation on the base of paraffin emulsions of 0.3-1.0% concentration.
