FIELD: armaments and blasting, applicable for effective suppression of fragmentation and explosive effects of a blast. SUBSTANCE: the device for localization of action of explosive mechanisms has a vessel of elastic material filled with noncombustible liquid, anti-fragment shield made in the form of a "skirt" of material based on high-modulus fibers, secured in the contour of the vessel peripheral part. The anti-fragment shield consists of several cylindrical links inserted one in another. The lower part of the vessel has a cavity containing the detected explosive mechanism and providing for its separation from the environment.
