FIELD: defense industry; production of splinter-proof screens.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of military engineering and may be efficiently used for protection against splinters of a high-capacity criminal explosion effects. The localizer of explosion contains one or more containers filled in with a dispersant and limited by an elastic mantle, a splinter-proof screen fixed on an outside radius of the localizer. The splinter-proof screen is made corrugated with the uniform buckles along the perimeter. The crimp buckles are made in two directions crossed at an angle of 60 up to 120 °. The sides of the buckles are fastened among themselves with the strength, that is lower, than the strength of the elastic mantle. The corrugated splinter-proof screen allows to realize the sufficient degree of deformation of the mantle preset by the level of elasticity of the material, that results in an increase of the localizer protective anti-explosive characteristics.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase protective anti-explosive characteristics of the localizer with the volumetric-corrugated splinter-proof screen.
