FIELD: electronic instrumentation, location systems with coaxial transceiving optical system. SUBSTANCE: in path of beam in proposed device there are placed optically coupled radiation source, flat refractive mirror arranged at angle with respect to optical axis guiding radiation beam on to spherical fairing with polished internal surface reflecting part of radiation on to concave spherical mirror which is source of powerful illumination inside device that reaches value exceeding permissible threshold value of radiation receiver. To eliminate illumination inside proposed device its concave mirror is located along optical axis at some distance from internal surface of spherical fairing which satisfies condition Δ ≅ fair+ R,+R, where fair- is focal distance of fairing; R is curvature radius of concave spherical mirror. EFFECT: possibility of utilization of proposed device in wide class of range finders, specifically, in range finders with high-sensitive avalanche photodetectors. 1 dwg
