SUBSTANCE: reactor has power-generating stacks in the form of pressurized vessel accommodating coolant, cooled power-generating thermionic assemblies, and headers for coolant dispensing and accumulating; headers are placed at ends of stacks; mounted above or inside coolant dispensing header is additional coolant-accumulation header; at least one power-generating assembly inside power-generating stack is made in the form of coolant pipeline hydraulically connected to dispensing header and to additional coolant-accumulation header; coolant outlet pipe is connected to additional coolant-accumulation header. Coolant pipeline may be heat-insulated or mounted inside pressurized pipe in a spaced relation and filled with gas or evacuated.
