FIELD: horticulture. SUBSTANCE: cutter is made in the form of flexible plate with one end fixed to outer side of shear knife and other end having loop-shaped part bent toward nut and provided with serrated inner edge contacting with side surface of pivot joint nut. Additional plate fastening part is positioned within closed loop- shaped part and separated from it by C-shaped recess. Plate has opening for receiving pivot joint pin. Cavity of additional plate fastening part is positioned perpendicular to pivot joint pin and is in contact with pressing surface of pivot joint pin nut. Loop-shaped part bending line is extending along the line connecting ends of C-shaped recess. Cutter of such construction provides reliable stop device overcoming force which may be applied to flexible plate by cut limbs and branches, and maintains constant set working gap between knives. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and simplified construction. 5 dwg
