FIELD: analytical methods in medicine. SUBSTANCE: histochemical method is distinguished by that staining and fixation are carried out simultaneously when tissue fragments are incubated in methanolic solution of dye stable green (70% methanol with 27.25% drinking water and 0.1 g dry dye) at pH 8.14-8.22 for 24 h, after which lysosomal cationic proteins are determined in paraffinic tissue sections (after deparaffination) by way of microscopic examination.
