FIELD: machine engineering, namely protection of forging presses, mainly crank presses against overloads. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes bushing mounted in turning of slide. Stepped sleeve is placed inside said bushing and it rests by its step upon step portion of bushing. Support of connecting rod is placed inside sleeve. Flange is joined with slide by means of dowels through springs. Additional spring is arranged between bushing and flange. Novelty is non-return disc valve resting upon flat surface of seat mounted in lower portion of slide turning. Lower end of bushing has cone sealing land lapped to cone surface of seat. Flat and cone portions of seat are mutually communicated by row of openings. Cavity formed between connecting rod support, bushing and seat is filled with high viscosity liquid.
