FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric machine making, namely, to end electric machines with one stator and one rotor in which rotors are based as cantilever on basing shield of stator. Invention is aimed at decrease of axial dimensions and usage of materials for making of machine with simultaneous increase of its loading capability, operational reliability and at simplification of process of adjustment of value of air gap between magnetic circuits of stator and rotor. It is achieved by positioning of thrust bearing of bearing unit reacting to axial load from action of attractive forces of stator and rotor on loading surface of supporting barrel of basing shield of stator and is pressed against ring rest of barrel with adjustment device in direction of action of axial load. In this case bearings of rotor shaft, one radial and another one radial-thrust, are so placed inside barrel that radial bearing is surrounded by thrust bearing and radial-thrust bearing is separated from radial one by spacing bushing put on rotor shaft and rests against restoring link of adjustment device with face surface of outer ring. Adjustment device has set screws provided with lock-nuts screwed into disk of rotor and resting against mobile race of thrust bearing and restoring ring so mounted in recess of supporting barrel between bearings of rotor shaft that it bears with one face against shoulder of barrel and with the other face against outer race of radial-thrust bearing.
