FIELD: shipbuilding, aircraft manufacture; building of ships and manufacture of aircraft at low resistance to surrounding medium. SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming circulation of medium between space outside body and cavities inside this body. Pressure is built up in inner cavities before holes located on surface of body and artificial boundary layer is formed; this layer directly adjoins surface of body; this layer is formed additionally to boundary layer of main flow. Pressure built up in inner cavities is lesser than pressure in stagnated flow but is larger than pressure in moving flow. Suction of jets of medium by main flow is formed from inner cavities through holes to incoming artificial boundary layer formed before these holes. At least one artificial boundary layer is formed on separate areas of surface of body and more than one artificial layers are formed on remaining areas; artificial boundary layers slowly move relative to body. Average velocities of artificial boundary layers are lesser than average velocity of boundary layer of main flow; average velocity is the lesser, the closer is the layer to surface of body. It is good practice to form suction of medium through slots tangentially or at acute angler relative to direction of flow or through pores or through slots and pores. It is good practice to form steps on surface of slots whose webs are used as external surface of body with pointed edges under which slots are formed.
