FIELD: shipbuilding construction of swivel inserted centerboards. SUBSTANCE: centerboard turning mechanism is mounted on end aft portion of well and is made in form of flat holder. Flat holder is located over vertical plane of aft portion of well. Lower end of this holder is provided with ears having holes. Ears embrace side surface of aft portion of centerboard head. Centerboard head is articulated in mating hole of centerboard by means of axle. Upper end flat holder copies shape of aft portion of bulwark rail of centerboard well. End surface of centerboard head is made over radius equal to length of centerboard well. Shock absorber is secured in upper portion of centerboard head Second end of this shock absorber is connected with ship's bottom by quick-release grip. EFFECT: possibility of forming new construction of centerboard turning mechanism; simplification of construction; ease in maintenance; reliable protection of centerboard; enhanced reliability of assembly as a whole. 2 dwg
